News About Family and Recordings

On the last Wednesday of the month (January 26th), Brody Dalle announced two great news that surprised all of her fans.

The first was that after several sessions in the studio and a long wait, she finally made official the start date of the recording of a new album. It will begin on April 2nd with the brilliant Alain Johannes and will be done - obviously - at Pink Duck Studio (wich Brody and her husband Joshua Homme are owners).

Probably, it will be the second Spinnerette's studio album, though she has not confirmed that part.
In 2010, Brody said she would release, in that same year, a new record with Spinnerette and also with another project "most punk", involving some friends like Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age).

Brody also took the opportunity and told that she is pregnant again. This will be her second baby with the leader of Queens of the Stone Age, Josh Homme.
The couple had the cute Camille Harley Joan Homme on January 17, 2006, who already follows the footsteps of her parents and loves great music.

As if these news were not enough, Brody reported on Saturday that she is on the Cherie Currie's (former singer of The Runaways) second solo album, singing on the cover of "Queens of Noise" with her.

By the way, Matt Sorum is working on the album, which has other special guests, as Juliette Lewis, Slash, Duff McKagan, Billy Corgan, Courtney Love and The Veronicas.
